BE CHALLENGED AND IMAGINE WITH US

We are seeking a dedicated Research Assistant to join our integrated research practice partnership teams. You will be engaged in a series of health promotion projects focused on chronic disease prevention in schools and community settings, as well as evidence synthesis.
As part of this position, you will support and undertake the core administrative and research functions of Cochrane Public Health, a leading partner in two Cochrane thematic groups: People, Health Systems and Public Health; and Nutrition and Physical Activity.

In this role you will:

  • Provide administrative support to assist with the required editorial processes, including reporting, and preparing meeting documents and agendas.
  • Support with systematic reviews, including screening and extracting data from published studies, drafting manuscripts, and assisting in grant and ethics applications.
  • Contribute to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of research trials.

This fixed term position is full time, until December 2025, and will be located at Wallsend Hospital.
