Description:

The Role
We are seeking a motivated Research Associate to join our CMC Quantitative Sciences team. The ideal candidate will have a background in statistical analysis, data science, or predictive analytics, and be proficient in various statistical techniques and one or more programming languages. In this role, you will analyze and visualize data, automate analytics, and integrate modeling to enhance our process and analytical operations. A collaborative spirit, curiosity, and eagerness to learn and apply new techniques are essential in our fast-paced environment.
Here’s What You’ll Do
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new process analytics tools
Automate and digitize analytical methodologies, integrating them into robotic systems.
Develop operational and investigational models using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques.
Manipulate and visualize data to support analytical and process development
Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making across CMC
Additional duties as may be assigned from time to time
Here’s What You’ll Need (Minimum Qualifications)
BS in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Proficiency in data visualization and effective communication of complex data
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and technical writing skills
Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)
Basic experience with machine learning and AI
Familiarity with data management tools and practices
Basic working knowledge of laboratory instrumentation (e.g., HPLC, Raman)
Experience with robotics and / or automated laboratory systems (e.g. Hamilton liquid handler)
Detail-oriented with a passion for science and data analysis
Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Adaptable and collaborative, with the ability to manage multiple projects
Self-motivated with excellent communication skills
Eager to learn and embrace change
