JOB SUMMARY

Primary duties are to plan and conduct research. May include things managing data, conducting interviews and publishing research. Must be able to interpret data or findings in an actionable way, with the goal being to inform businesses about which decisions they should make.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, cell biology or other natural, life, health care or materials science directly related to the research area to which the position is assigned and experience in research, basic science or clinical laboratory particularly clinical trial research; OR Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, cell biology or other natural, life, health care or materials science directly related to the research area to which the position is assigned and a minimum of three years’ research and/or clinical experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Previous supervisory experience.

KNOWLEDGE

Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases.

SKILLS

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Excellent customer service, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.

ABILITIES

Ability to maintain confidentiality, coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines despite often interruptions, keep accurate records, and make independent decisions.

Responsibilities:

THE DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Plan and conduct research.
  • Analyze and interpret data.
  • Present research findings via presentations, journals manuscripts, etc.
  • Work with administrative staff to order laboratory supplies and equipment.
  • Train and orient team members.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
