Description:
- Based in UniSA Business at the City West campus
- Part-time (0.4FTE), fixed term contract until 31 December 2024
- Starting salary: $96,929 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Relevant doctoral degree/studies with relevant research experience, ideally in applied economics, housing economics or property market economics
- High-level oral and written communication and liaison skills, with the ability to present information effectively and clearly to a wide audience
- Capacity to identify and conduct high quality research, evidenced through report writing, research design, ability to search and summarise large bodies of literature, data management, data analysis and submission of articles
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, including an ability to lead and work within a diverse team
- Experience with quantitative and/or qualitative data collection methods including focus groups and semi-structured interviews
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Professor of Property and Housing Economics, you will contribute to the research efforts of UniSA Business, working in conjunction with specific grants and in relation to supporting a range of research projects and related support activities.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute to producing high quality research, grant projects, and scholarly activity
- Manage and analyse data to support research projects through conducting literature searches and reviews, and write up initial drafts to a high standard of scientific language
- Assist in data collection efforts, including data processing, cleaning, transformation, analysis and GIS mapping
- Provide support and assistance in writing research, project, and grant reports and presentations for academe and industry and assist with grant management activities including basic administration
- Create, foster and enhance national and international links with relevant industry, business, university and community bodies that support the advancement of the University
