Responsibilities:
JOB PURPOSE
ICE Sustainable Finance creates data products and tools to help fixed income clients measure and manage their ESG-related risks and impact goals. In the municipal bond market, one of our largest competitive advantages is the ability to link securities to geospatial obligor footprints. This hire will be responsible for managing the workflow associated with our geospatial foot printing and further expanding our municipal bond coverage. In the process, they will come away with a deep understanding of the $4 trillion municipal debt market in the United States, a critically important source of funding for infrastructure projects in school districts, cities, and counties across the country.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Building out ICE Sustainable Finance’s geospatial coverage of municipal bonds, including research into new issuers and obligors, shapefile generation and processing, and linking existing obligor boundaries to new securities
- Creating weekly client-facing reference folders of new municipal bond issuances across all 50 states
- Responding to frequent client requests for updates and explanations
- Putting together a weekly client-facing email about specific municipal debt issuances
