Description:
The Air Traffic Management Research Institute (ATMRI), established in 2013 through a strategic partnership between NTU and the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), is a premier institution dedicated to advancing the science and technology of air traffic management. ATMRI aims to enhance the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of the worldwide air transport system.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Integration, User Experience, Operation Research, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
- Support research and development related to qualifying human-centric demand for automated support operation applied to Air Traffic Control and Air Traffic Management.
- Demonstrated project experience in human-computer interaction, usability testing, or related fields.
- Excellent knowledge of programming and prototyping tools relevant to the field.
- Good English writing and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Support research and development related to qualifying human-centric demand for automated support operation applied to Air Traffic Control and Air Traffic Management.
- Develop a hierarchical scenario analysis tool to identify behavioral flows in dynamic and complex interactions.
- Develop prototypes and intelligent tools for an adaptive human-AI hybrid collaboration mode.
- Support the Principal Investigator/Team Lead with project management activities and preparation of progress reports.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with industrial and academic partners.
