QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in a science or healthcare related field
- 2-3 years of research experience in a clinical science or healthcare related field
- Research experience in infectious disease, immunological and/or inflammatory disorders, orthopedics, chronic illness and/or cancer (regenerative medicine is a plus)
- Professional experience using PubMed, Google Scholar, etc. in the review of the medical literature
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, service orientation, written and verbal communication abilities
- Advanced computer literacy and proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

ABOUT THE ROLE
PHM seeks a Research Associate to join our unique in-house Research Services department of PhD, PharmD, and Master’s level scientists focused on getting our clients the best clinical care possible for their specific condition. We are currently looking for a Master’s level scientist who will support our research efforts for clients across a broad range of health conditions.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliverable Creation: Create patient-friendly educational materials (ex. written reports, presentations, graphs, charts) in response to client inquiries regarding diagnosis or treatment options. This may require analysis of patient medical records, data extraction, tracking of lab values, symptoms, and medication histories.
- Case Responsibilities: Identify, review, and interpret the medical literature and other sources to prioritize diagnostic and treatment options for individual cases. This includes accepted standard of care, the most recent professional guidelines, and most promising investigational approaches. Identify key opinion leaders and other experts in the field of interest to help guide clinical decision making.
- Clinical Trial Identification: Assist in the identification and evaluation of potential clinical trials. This includes database review, identification of supporting evidence, and assessment of trial eligibility.
