Description:

School of Art, Design and Media is looking for a candidate to join them as a Part-time Research Associate.
This position offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in a dynamic project, offering a virtual immersive experience from an app and a 360-degree video, contributing to the development and enhancement of innovative applications to produce an immersive experience for the local stories to be heard, seen, and sensed. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of technical operations, including content management systems and software applications, prototyping.
  • Take charge of the end-to-end process of software development, ensuring seamless functionality.
  • Conduct comprehensive research on existing applications in relevant domains.
  • Analyze and identify key features and functionalities for potential adaptation and improvement.
  • Collaborate with the team to adapt content seamlessly into new applications.
  • Ensure content alignment with project objectives and user experience goals.
  • Oversee content management, ensuring accurate organization, accessibility, and relevance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain a cohesive and engaging content strategy.
  • Address and resolve any technical issues promptly to enhance user experience.

Job Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in software development and content management.
  • Familiarity with app research, adaptation, and testing processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
