Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual who is pursuing a career in Public Health Economic Modelling.
You will work on methodological research projects relating to OpenScience, including supporting the transition of a microsimulation model to an online repository by developing support materials, programme documentation and reproducible quality assurance processes.
The research team is at the forefront, nationally and internationally, of developing and implementing of public health economic modelling and microsimulation to support decision making and impact.
In addition to project work you will contribute to dissemination of research findings through peer-reviewed publications, academic conferences and through engagement with policy and practice stakeholders and the public.
You will also have the opportunity to develop your methodological research interests, contribute to the development and delivery of Masters level teaching, and supervise postgraduate research students.
You should have a Masters and PhD, or equivalent work experience, in health economic modelling, and demonstrate modelling skills in R software. Ideally, you should have an emerging track record of peer-reviewed publications and research impact.
