JOB SUMMARY

Lawson Health Research Institute (Lawson) is the research institute of London Health Sciences Centre and St. Joseph’s Health Care London. As one of Canada’s top ten research institutes, we are committed to furthering scientific knowledge to advance health care around the world.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in relevant area of study or equivalent education and experience preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in the health/research industry preferred
  • Experience in clinical research preferred
  • Experience with Redcap and/or other electronic data capture systems
  • Experience working in a health care setting would be an asset
  • Ability to collaborate with researchers and hospital staff
  • Knowledge of the phases of a research and clinical project cycle preferred
  • Ability to work independently as well as in an interdisciplinary team.
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to follow processes with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Well-developed organizational skills with the ability to set priorities to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS:

Before beginning employment at LHSC, all new hires will be required to:

  • Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step);
