KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Educational Background: Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Industry Experience: 3-5 years experience, preferably within financial services.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with analytics and data management, including handling large, unstructured datasets.
• Communication Skills: Excellent ability to manage stakeholder requirements.
• User-Focused Mindset: Commitment to delivering clear and insightful analytics and visuals.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, SQL, Power BI.

PURPOSE OF POSITION

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Research Data Associate to support our research agenda through the development and maintenance of our research data platform. This critical role involves collaborating with our research team, who produce market commentary and investment research content that relies on precise and insightful data analytics. You will be responsible for gathering requirements, organizing workstreams, developing data pipelines and databases, and creating impactful analytics and visualizations. These outputs will be integrated into research content and used for market intelligence to support the firm’s strategic goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with the Research Team: Understand data needs and gather requirements.
• Organize Workstreams: Ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
• Develop Data Pipelines and Databases: Maintain accurate and up-to-date data.
• Produce Analytics and Visualizations: Enhance research content and provide market intelligence.
• Deliver Insightful Data: Ensure that analytics produced are clear, intuitive, and insightful.
