ABOUT THE COMPANY

Roy Morgan is growing and is seeking an experienced researcher leader to join our bustling Research Institute.

Responsibilities:

Side by side with senior leaders in the Research Institute, you will lead research projects end to end including client engagement, questionnaire development, generating evidence-based insights and reports. You will have a central focus on ensuring that your projects are managed effectively, are on time, and within budget and scope. You will also manage a team of researchers and mentor junior level and graduate researchers, as they embark on their careers.
You will be responsible for business development which will take the form of responding to tenders or business leads and will have the opportunity to bring your skills to innovate and enhance the work we do, providing insightful and effective results for our clients.

We are looking for a progressive professional researcher who shares our values of discovery and excitement, respect and responsibility, with:

  • Experience in the design, collection and delivery of research projects
  • Experience in mixed methodologies including face to face, telephone and online data collections
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the research industry, coupled with quantitative research expertise
  • Passion about research and delivering impactful results and insights to clients including government agencies
  • Skilled at writing analytical and technical reports, and proposals to a very high standard
  • Ability to read, analyse and understand data, synthesise meaning, to draw insights and tell a story
  • Ability and proven experience leading staff and teams
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications such as a degree in Social Sciences, Business and/or Marketing
  • Competent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
