Skilled and experienced in research support? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Research & Development team at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS) as a research facilitator and provide expert assistance to investigators in grant costings, study setup and delivery.
You will join a specialised team within the dedicated R&D infrastructure at Southampton General Hospital, liaising closely with a wide range of research investigators and their teams, service support departments, external funders and local regulatory agencies.
This full-time position delivers an expert role, offering skilled support to researchers from conception to completion of clinical research studies, in line with nationally agreed benchmarks for initiation and delivery and UHS research strategic priorities.

Please talk to us at the interview about the flexibility you need, and we will explore what’s possible for the role and service. UHS employees are able to access a range of NHS discounts, are entitled to a minimum of 35 days paid holiday (pro rata), and we offer a generous pension scheme.
Southampton is an attractive place to live and work situated on the south coast, with an international airport and direct trains to London.
