Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY
Join us in advancing women’s health as a Research Fellow for the Endometriosis Management Plan (Endo-MP) project. This position will be instrumental in developing and implementing a comprehensive endometriosis management plan (EMP) to enhance endometriosis and pelvic pain diagnosis and management in primary care settings. Collaborating closely with healthcare providers and patients, you will ensure primary care remains central to effective endometriosis care. Your contributions will directly support patient navigation and treatment, significantly improving the quality of life for those affected by these conditions.
This innovative project uses a co-design approach, engaging stakeholders throughout development and implementation to ensure the EMP is practical and effective. You will pilot test and evaluate the EMP in various GP clinics, including specialised endometriosis and pelvic pain clinics as well as general non-specialist practices. In this role, you will conduct research and contribute to conference papers, reports and publications, both independently and as part of a team.
We are seeking qualified candidates with a strong academic background in a relevant discipline. Essential skills include demonstrated analytical capabilities, manuscript preparation, and a proven track record of research publications. Experience in quantitative and qualitative research is crucial, along with knowledge in stakeholder consultation, implementation science, women’s health or primary care.
If you are passionate about making a difference in primary care and women’s health, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity to lead advancements in endometriosis management.
