Description:
We welcome applications for a Research Fellow position in AI/Machine Learning at the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE), NTU, Singapore. The appointment is full-time and is funded for 1+ years.
The selected candidate will join a vibrant and dynamic research group, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the development of a vision-based object detection/tracking module for applications in Space Situational Awareness.
- Involve learning-based algorithm design for orbit determination/propagation, image processing/enhancement, and experimental validation.
Job Requirements:
- A PhD Degree in AI/Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.
- Strong background in deep learning, machine learning, and/or image processing.
- Relevant space-based research that includes orbit determination/propagation will be preferred.
- Good communications skills and the ability to work independently and facilitate projects with minimal supervision.
- Able to contribute to Journal/Conference papers with good presentation skills.
- Able to plan and organize well and adhere to deadlines
