The Nanyang Centre for Public Administration (NCPA) is looking for a candidate to join them as a Research Fellow.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• PhD in one of the relevant fields of public policy, public administration, economics, political sciences, or a related field.
• Good knowledge about AI, applications and implications.
• Preference will be given to those with solid research training in quantitative methods.
  Duration
  The appointment will be for a period for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to performance review and budget availability. Successful candidates should ideally begin their fellowships in June 2024 or soon afterward, subject to mutual agreement.

  Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, a detailed CV, a writing sample, and a 5-page research proposal. Two reference letters from those who are in a position to assess the candidates’ academic and research capacities, on official letterhead and signed by the referees, are to be sent directly by the referees to D-NCPA@ntu.edu.sg.

• Work closely with Director of NCPA, who will serve as the primary mentor, and other research staff at NCPA as well as the School of Social Sciences.
• Conduct independent research, develop research proposals, collaborate on projects, and contribute to academic publications.
• Help coordinate NCPA’s research activities and events within NTU and with external partners.
