An ideal candidate for this position should possess a solid background in electrochemistry, materials science, chemistry, and materials physics.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- A PhD in Chemistry, Physics, Solid-state Physics, Electrochemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Proficient analytical and conceptual skills.
- Capable of working autonomously or collaboratively within an R&D context.
- Demonstrated track record of publishing papers in conferences and journals.
- Willingness and aptitude for mentoring and guiding graduate students on relevant methodologies.
- Consistent production of detailed reports and well-organized documentation.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Extensive research background in electrocatalysis, catalyst development for fuel cells, and materials chemistry.
- Ability to contribute effectively as a team member in experimental research support.
- Strong capacity for independent research pursuits.

Responsibilities:
- Supporting cutting-edge research in small molecule electrocatalysis for electrolysis and fuel cells.
- Primarily investigating the correlation between catalysts’ solid-state properties and their performance, including the development of new electrode materials for small molecule catalysis.
- Providing day-to-day assistance to the research team.
- May have the opportunity to undertake open-ended research projects under the supervision of the research team.
- Mentoring and guiding graduate students
- Any other duties as assigned.
