You would be working on a groundbreaking research, The Generation Study which will sequence the genomes of 100,000 newborn babies. Every year hundreds of babies are born in the UK with rare genetic conditions, early intervention can enhance the health and quality of life. To be responsible for maximising recruitment into the Generation Study within the Trust. This will include developing recruitment strategies, monitoring rates of recruitment, performance studies within the Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospital. The post holder will ensure that any research undertaken safeguards the well being of research participants and is conducted to Good Clinical Practice and in compliance to the respective research protocol and UK/EU law.
