THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Research Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operations and research activities of the Lieschke Group. You will assist in conducting experiments, managing laboratory administration, and maintaining zebrafish fish stocks. Your contributions will ensure our laboratory remains a compliant and safe research environment, focusing on excellence in processes and sound judgment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct and support research activities, including experiment administration, data collection, and analysis
- Stay updated with developments in the field by liaising with staff, reading relevant literature, and attending seminars
- Prepare documentation, reports, and conduct literature reviews
- Comply with established research methodologies, policies, protocols, OHS, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in continuous improvement activities for research and technical procedures
