In this role, you will be responsible for enabling and accelerating Intapp’s research efforts through operational excellence.
What you will do:
As a Research Operations Specialist at Intapp, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our research processes and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data-driven initiatives. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will leverage your analytical skills and operational expertise to drive continuous improvement and deliver actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.

In this role of a Research Operations Specialist, you can expect to:

  • Develop and implement processes, tools, and best practices to streamline research workflows and increase efficiency
  • Manage research infrastructure, including computing resources, data pipelines, and collaboration tools
  • Ensure research data is properly organized, documented, and accessible to authorized personnel
  • Coordinate research projects, track milestones, and facilitate communication across cross-functional teams
  • Identify opportunities for automation and develop scripts/tools to optimize repetitive tasks
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate designers, PMs, and others on research methodologies, operational tools, processes, research tools, and resources, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill development.
  • Contribute to fostering a culture of operational excellence within the research organization
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for research operations and establish monitoring mechanisms to track progress, identify trends, and measure the impact of process improvements, and identify areas for continuous improvement

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in research operations, data operations, project management, UX research, or a related field
  • Proficiency in research methodologies, data analysis techniques, and information management systems; experience with CRM platforms and research tools is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and drive initiatives to successful completion
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Strong writing and documentation skills, especially for a variety of professional clients and across organization audiences, including the ability to summarize finding, analysis, and recommendations
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to data accuracy and quality assurance; experience with data governance frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to break down complex problems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the legal, financial, and/or professional services industries
  • B2B experience, especially interacting with professional clients
  • Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts
  • Familiarity with UX research tools, including panel management, recruiting, and conducting research
  • Project management experience or certification (e.g., PMP, Scrum)
