Koniag Government Services is seeking a Research/Program Analyst to support our sector of companies in Washington, DC.

Serve as Research/Program Analyst to assist ACF OSHEPR in conducting Research/Program Analyst activities. The Office of Human Services Emergency Preparedness and Response (OHSEPR) is the Emergency Management Lead for the ACF within the DHHS. OHSEPR ensures the effectiveness of human services in preparedness, response, and recovery from disasters and public health emergencies OHSEPR leads ACF’s support for disaster human services missions conducted under the National Response Framework’s Emergency Support Function 6. OHSEPR administers the U.S. Repatriation Program and leads domestic non-emergency and emergency repatriation planning and operations to support the return of U.S. citizens and their dependents following an evacuation from overseas nations due to war, threat of war, invasion, civil unrest, or similar crises.

EDUCATION:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college and a minimum of 4 years of professional Research/Program Analyst experience.

WORK EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Firm understanding of industry best practices and the repatriation program.
  • Strong spreadsheet and presentation skills
  • Unrestricted work authorization
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to calculate statistics like mathematical averages and percentages.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Ability to adapt to changing technology.
  • Effective communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts research and analysis on assigned subject matters and presents information in usable formats for review and/or integration to support overall task or project objectives.
  • Assists with the development of study designs, sampling strategies, and analytical plans.
  • Uses appropriate systems, tools, and technology to collect and analyze data.
  • Contribute to the development of artifacts and documentation to include guidelines, protocols, reports, manuscripts, processes, and publications.
  • Identifies issues, gathers, and analyzes information, and develop advice and guidance to resolve substantive problems affecting the effectiveness and efficiency of Repatriation operations in a program or program support setting in support of ACF’s mission assignments.
  • Contributes to the development and execution of projects or task plans and interfaces with government and contractor personnel.
  • Potential assignment as the liaison during repatriation deployment incidents.
