Description:
Center for Advancing Prevention Excellence (CAPE) seeks a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Research Rater. In this role, this position will play a crucial part in developing a system to measure implementation fidelity of instructors delivering an evidence-based and school-based substance use prevention curriculum titled Too Good for Drugs.
This is a part-time remote position with expected hours per week ranging between 6 – 10 hours.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Previous training in the Too Good for Drugs curriculum
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience as a rater, or experience with psychometric principles and assessment tools
- Experience in substance use, mental health, prevention, or related fields
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities:
- Observe video-taped lessons and accurately rate instructor fidelity using an implementation fidelity tool
- Meet with other raters and members of the research team to discuss and address questions related to ratings in order to ensure consistency across raters.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of ratings and enter ratings into a database.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on rating guidelines and procedures.
