Leveraging substantial data and computing resources and through continued investment in these domains, our team has built a proprietary general-purpose model with multimodal capabilities. This model supports over 50 downstream business services including Doubao, Coze, and Dreamina, which are available to enterprise customers via the Volcano Engine. Currently, the Doubao App is the most used AIGC application in the China market.

Team Intro
The SAMI team’s mission is to empower content interaction and creation across ByteDance products using speech & audio related technologies. We focus on cutting-edge R&D in areas like speech & audio, music processing, natural language understanding and multimodal deep learning. We are looking for top talents to work on these exciting technologies, integrate them into various ByteDance products and ultimately bring joy to our global user base!

Responsibilities

• Conduct cutting-edge research and development in music understanding and multimodal learning
• Transfer advanced technologies to ByteDance products.
• Explore new products with music intelligence technology at its core.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Master’s or PhD in computer science, mathematics, engineering or related field;

• Experience in one or more areas of music intelligence and deep learning, including but not limited to:
• Music information retrieval
• Music transcription
• Deep learning
• Multimodal learning
• Digital signal processing for music

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Publications in top-tier venues such as NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML.
• Familiar with deep learning frameworks such as Tensorflow and Pytorch.
• Highly competent in algorithms and programming; Strong coding skills in C/C++ and Python.
• Familar with music production.
• Familiar with engineering principles and best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-functional environment.
