Responsibilities:
We are seeking an innovative Research Scientist to join our team. You will represent the department in cross-functional research project teams and be responsible for designing and executing high-quality assays that drive our therapeutic antibody-based projects forward. The primary tasks include ligand binding assay development for biomarkers using platforms like Gyrolab, MSD and ELISA with a significant focus on assay quality and performance. Additionally, you’ll perform these assays on preclinical in vivo biosamples including plasma, cerebrospinal fluid, and brain tissue.
As part of our antibody discovery and screening efforts, you’ll be involved in hit identification and subsequent characterization, focusing on functionality assessments (such as binding and cell-based assays). Furthermore, you’ll play a crucial role in improving assay and data workflows, exploring novel immunoassay technologies, and collaborating with Contract Research Organizations (CROs) for outsourced assay development tasks.
