Description:
A Corp Lab in NTU is looking for a research scientist to conduct research with the PI in the areas of digital twins, 3D graphics, computer vision, deep learning, large language models (LLMs), augmented reality/virtual reality (AR/VR). Additionally, the role will contribute to the technical community by publishing research findings, submitting Technical Disclosures, securing patents, and developing software tools, driving technology and innovation forward.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- PhD degree in mathematics, computer science, engineering, or a related field
- Experience in the application of 3D graphics, computer vision, 3D scene reconstruction and processing, and deep learning
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ or Python
- Good publications track record
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility towards research/work

Responsibilities:
- Investigating new theories, models, and algorithms in digital twins, 3D graphics, computer vision, deep learning, large language models (LLMs), augmented reality/virtual reality (AR/VR), etc.
- Developing and implementing algorithms and prototype tools for 3D content/scene generation, interaction, etc., which may involve point clouds, 3D meshes, neural implicit representations, Gaussian splatting, NeRF, RGB-D, etc.
- Providing guidance to junior research staff and students.
- Contributing to the technical community through conference and journal papers, Technical Disclosures (TDs), patents, and software tools.
