Description:

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

As a Research Scientist, your experience in the application of protein, molecular biology and/or biophysical skill sets will be crucial in designing and characterising the next generation of biologics, with a focus on multi-specific molecules and cellular engagers. You will execute experiments efficiently, analyse, interpret, and present data and ideas to a wider audience.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Graduate level scientist with hands-on laboratory-based experience
  • Awareness of antibody structure-function relationships
  • Hands-on experience in molecular biology methods and technologies e.g., PCR, RT-PCR, cloning (ligation-dependent and independent methods), site-directed mutagenesis, Sanger sequencing/analysis, and/or, experience in common expression systems (e.g. mammalian), purification methods (e.g. Akta systems), and/or the ability to profile constructs (e.g. SPR; biochemical assays)
  • Ability to apply protocols, troubleshoot, interpret experimental results/data and maintain accurate, high quality and up-to-date experimental records
  • Strong communication skills in a team environment and an ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies

  • Experience of laboratory-based research in the pharmaceutical industry
