As a Research Student, you will work closely with research personnel and actively participate in a structured learning experience in a laboratory or clinical research setting. You will quickly gain hands-on experience in laboratory techniques, clinical settings, data collection and analysis and other related skills to explore careers in biomedical and clinical research.

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be accepted/enrolled in an accredited college or university as an undergraduate student.
  • This position is NOT applicable to anyone who has completed all requirements for an undergraduate degree/diploma.
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • None required.
  • Students with previous research laboratory experience are often preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Normal physical requirements include good near visual acuity and color acuity.

Responsibilities:

  • Under direct supervision, student may conduct research in the laboratories and/or clinical setting
  • Under direct supervision, student may perform data collection and analysis.
  • Other duties as assigned.
