Description:

Are you an organised and motivated individual who is interested in supporting academics to carry out research that will help to shape the world that we live in?
We have an exciting opportunity for an administrative officer to join a small and friendly team to support two research programmes in achieving their goals of having real world impact. The first is ‘Including Public Voices in RAI’ which is a 12-month project funded as part of UKRI’s responsible and trustworthy AI programme. It aims to ensure that public voices are attended to in artificial intelligence research, development and policy. The second is the ESRC Digital Good Network which is building a research community focused on what a good digital society should look like and how we get there.
You will help to ensure the smooth running of the ‘Including Public Voices in RAI’ programme and of the Digital Good Network, by providing a range of support including through the administration of a funding programme, organisation of events and maintaining financial records. This role will help the successful candidate to develop a range of skills given its varied nature.
We are committed to exploring flexible working opportunities which benefit the individual and University.
