Description:

Provides technical lab support by performing complex lab and research related tasks.

  • Performs laboratory experiments under the guidance of senior researchers or principal investigator.
  • Conducts molecular biology experiments such as western blot, qPCR, DNA/RNA extraction, and cloning.
  • Performs cellular biology techniques such as cell culture, cell transfection and cell imaging.
  • Prepares reagents and solutions required for experiments.
  • Maintains laboratory equipment and ensure they are in proper working condition.
  • Assists in the design, execution, and analysis of experiments.
  • Records and organizes experimental data accurately and precisely.
  • Collaborates with team members to achieve research goals.
  • Follows laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Troubleshoot experimental procedures and equipment issues as needed.
  • Participates in lab meetings and discussions, presenting findings when appropriate.
  • Assists in training new lab members and undergraduate and high school students.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree required.
