Description:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AT THIS LEVEL:
- Education/Training: Work generally requires a bachelor’s degree in botany, biology, zoology, psychology or other directly related scientific field.
- Experience: None required above education/training requirement. OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the PI and in harmony with Laboratory Leadership on the Syphilis Program:
- Run ELISAs in support of isolating monoclonal antibodies from human and non-human primate samples.
- Assist in the production of proteins
- Small and large scale
- Work with the PI and in harmony with Laboratory Leadership to support the Duke Collaborative Influenza Vaccine Innovation Centers (CIVICs) Vaccine Center (DCVC):
- Assist in the production of proteins
- Small and large scale
- Run lab assays
