Description:

BASIC REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE):

  • Diploma or BSc with experience in developing and validating NAAT
  • Understand the basics of next generation sequencing and experience in Microbiology or related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Proven excellence in interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Superior organizational and record keeping skills with a keen attention to details.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

MSc, experience with next generation sequencing, bioinformatics.

Responsibilities:

  • Helping develop molecular based amplification.
  • Sequencing
  • Metagenomic
  • Basic microbiology methods to support research projects.
  • The technician will also be responsible for inventory and administrative management of research laboratories.
