Vickerstock are working in partnership with our client who are specialists within the Agri Producer Organisation and due to recent funding for an R&D project we are looking for a Research Technician to join them at their site in Monaghan.
Responsibilities:
- Support in conducting productivity and agronomic evaluation of growth media through commercial like trials. This will involve ordering growing materials, working with supervisor staff to ensure correctly installed crops, monitoring crops for performance and harvesting and recording harvest, packing and yield metrics.
- Maintenance of yield and laboratory data on server.
- Assisting in the coordination of growing media and constituent sourcing, storage and preparation for field and laboratory analysis.
- Conducting routine monitoring of plant and mushroom performance.
- Ensuring necessary Knowledge transfer information, such as photographs etc are maintained as well as assisting with stakeholder engagement events.
