WE SEEK:

In the Faculty II: School of Education, Architecture and the Arts, DFG Reserach Training Group 2493 “Consequences of Social Services Word”, we are looking for five researchers as of the 01.10.2024 at the following conditions:

  • 75% = 29,87 hours
  • Pay grade 13 TV-L
  • limited bis 30.09.2027

The DFG Research Training Group focuses on the consequences of social services work for its service users. Consequences are deliberately defined broadly, as different consequences that can arise from social services work. Social services work is understood as institutionalized measures implemented by the welfare state for the pedagogical or psychosocial support of people’s participation and options for action. The DFG Research Training Group aims to constructively combine and further develop existing approaches to impact- and user-oriented research and to consider for the specific circumstances of social services work. Particular attention is paid to the social contexts in which social services work and the consequences of interdependencies of contexts and social services: Concepts of normality and the need for help, the social situation of the service users and the settings in which help is provided. Responsibilities:

  • Design and realization of a research project in the thematic area of the DFG Research Training Group
  • Obligatory participation in the curriculum of the DFG Research Training Group (theory and method seminars, research colloquia, workshops, training courses, etc.)
  • Regular presentation of intermediate findings within the Research Training Group (colloquia, workshops) as well as at relevant scientific conferences
