Job Title: Experienced Resident Engineer / Client Representative
Location: East Midlands Ireland
Daily Rate: €400 to €450 (No additional benefits included)
Type: Contract (Starting Mid May 2024)
Project Length: Approximately 12 weeks, with potential for extension

SUMMARY:

Kelly Renewables are looking for an experienced Resident Engineer/ Client Rep. This role offers a dynamic opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute their expertise to a significant East midlands project in the renewable energy sector. With a focus on meticulous oversight and proactive support, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth progression and success of the TSA Phase operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing TSA Phase Operations
  • Take charge of day-to-day site-based affairs within the realm of site management, distinct from project management.
  • Collaborate closely with the NP PM, contributing valuable insights and updates.
  • Generate daily reports utilizing provided templates for seamless communication and documentation.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of delivered components on hardstands, utilizing client NCR reports to ensure closure of FAT NCRs, focusing on externals and ground/foot level internals without the need for climbing.
  • Maintain vigilant oversight of site HSE protocols and compliance.
  • Record and monitor operations, particularly in relation to weather-related downtime, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Provide robust support to the client during commercial claims processes.

Requirements:

  • Possession of a degree in Renewables or equivalent field, demonstrating a solid educational foundation.
  • Proven track record of successful turbine installations and deliveries, showcasing comprehensive expertise.
  • Essential experience with TSA contracts, ensuring familiarity and proficiency in this specific contractual framework.
  • Extensive background encompassing 5-10 wind farm projects, providing a wealth of practical knowledge and expertise.
  • Access to personal transportation for efficient mobility and accessibility to project sites.
