Description:

DESCRIPTION:

  • To monitor and report on LTA and its contractor’s work progress against planned schedule and specified alert thresholds and maintain daily site records of the works which should include all circumstances and events occurring during the construction stage vide CAG’s AIMS software tool and to raise alarms and initiate contingency plans should there be any anomalies that warrants CAG staff’s immediate attention in real time, etc.;
  • To assist LTA and its contractors to close or open any affected CAG or airport partner facility safely and smoothly in accordance to endorsed procedures, including but not limited to runways, taxiways, aircraft parking aprons, roadways, Changi Airfreight Centre facilities, etc.; and
  • To ensure all work clearance that require specific stakeholder approvals are prepared, submitted and approve d in a timely manner so as to ensure no delay to the progress of works on site.

Requirement:

  • The RTO shall have minimum five (5) years of working experience in supervision of works similar in nature and size to the LTA CR105 and LTA T316 works, in particular tunnelling works, ground improvement, and instrumentation and monitoring works .
  • Any experience with Changi Airport Fuel Hydrant Installation (CAFHI) piping works and/or safety/serviceability monitoring would be preferred.
  • The RTO shall possess minimally a Diploma in the civil and/or structural discipline from Polytechnic or equivalent.
  • The RTO shall be accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) of the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES) as Qualified Site Supervisor (QSS).
  • The RTO shall possess good analytical ability with strong verbal and written communication skills. He/she shall be competent in keeping and maintaining proper and updated site records on the progress of work, including safety and health.
  • The RTO shall possess strong supervision and be pro-active in resolving and managing site issue with good team spirit.
  • The RTO must be willing to do shift work.
