We would like to welcome Resident Technical Officers to join our Water team working on a critical water pipeline (subsea) project in Jurong Island. Jacobs’s role is Client’s Representative managing the design and construction supervision. Main duties:

  • Supervise the execution of the construction works including temporary works for pipe laying, pipe jacking works and construction of chambers.
  • Ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor the Contractor’s progress and performance and maintain proper site records of the works
  • Take photos of the worksite and update The Client with proper labels through email / WhatsApp on a daily basis
  • Keep and maintain proper site records and documentation, e.g. attendance records of PM, RTO, STO, Professional Engineers and contractor’s site personnel
  • Keep records of diary, record books, schedule of works, records of inspection/checklists and approvals for concreting, test records, test certificates.

Here’s what you’ll need:

To be a successful candidate, you shall possess:

  • Civil / Structural Degree or equivalent with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in site supervision of civil engineering works in pipe jacking and pipe laying works.
  • RTO certificate from IES

Responsibilities:
