At Jacobs, we recognize these challenges and our engineers, scientists, and planners are working together with clients to find the right solutions to their water challenges.

Jacobs Singapore would like to welcome a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) to join our Water team working on exciting Water Main upgrading projects across Singapore. Jacobs role is The Client’s Representative for contract supervision works. Main duties:

  • Carry outstanding supervision of the works in progress on-site
  • Enter the manhole or sewer for inspection, when necessary
  • Supervising and verifying contractors’ CCTV video and inspection reports,
  • Systematically manage and update daily data on all records about the programme

Here’s What You’ll Need:

To be a successful candidate, you shall possess:

  • Minimum Diploma in Engineering
  • RTO accreditation by the Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) or the Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES)
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in site supervision work in sewerage projects.
  • Certificate of WSQ Supervise Work in Confined Spaced Operation (previously known as Safety Instruction Course for Supervisors – Manhole (SIC)) will be an added advantage
  • Certification either under the WRc Sewer Pipeline Assessment and Certification Programme, SgSTT’s Pipeline Assessment Certification Programme or WSQ Certified Used Water Collection Technician will be an added advantage

Other information

  • 44 working hours (5.5 days) per week
  • 36 months fixed term contract renewable
