Residential DSP - PT

JOB SUMMARY:

The Residential DSP - PT will provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. The DSP will assist with daily living activities, medication administration, and transportation. The DSP will also provide emotional support and encouragement to individuals to help them achieve their goals and live a fulfilling life.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
  Job Type: Part-time
  Pay: $17.50 per hou

• Assist individuals with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Administer medication as prescribed by a physician
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding
• Provide transportation to appointments and community activities
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to individuals
• Document daily activities and progress towards goals
• Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding individual needs and progress
