Description:

To provide a security service at the working location in line with the Assignment Instructions and client requirements in order to protect the client’s employees, property, and other assets. To deliver the highest levels of customer service which consistently demonstrate Securitas’ core values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.

  • Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off (Days, nights and weekends)
  • Working: 07:00-19:00 and 19:00-07:00
  • Average 42hrs per week
  • £10.58ph
  • SIA licence essential
  • Driving licence desirable due to shift end times and weekend working

DESIRABLE:

  • Fire Warden desirable but not essential (full training can be provided).
  • Access to own transport desirable but not essential

• Provide a proactive approach to all security related issues throughout the juration of the duty, utilising both knowledge and technology. • Ensure residents receive clear guidance and precise guidance is given when managing behaviours.

  • Communicating any irregularities to the client.
  • Ensure the safety of Staff, Service Users and Visitors.
  • Ensuring compliance with government regulation.
  • Escorting for smoking/fresh airbrakes at agreed period with housing officer.
  • Following procedures for various initiatives including fire presenting, traffic control and accident investigations.
  • Guarding valuables in a secure area.
  • Liaise with client in respect of Serious incidents.
  • Maintaining logs and reporting concerns and incidents
  • Monitor/manage key and vulnerable access points – e.g., main/rear entrances, fire exits, secured ground floor windows in communal spaces/restrictions functional.
  • Reporting non-compliance with occupancy to housing officer (e.g., smoking in Room)
  • Actively works towards ambitious personal goals, demonstrates enthusiasm and energy toward all aspects of work.
  • SIA Licence Essential
  • 5-year checkable education / work history
  • Must have Right to work in the UK
  • Ability to transcend to multiple cultures and interact effectively at all levels
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with confidential information.
  • Be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • To complete scheduled attendance for the purposes for the covering of meal reliefs, and site patrols of named locations within a defined geographical area.
  • To provide additional support to the client in emergency situations for named locations within a defined geographical area.
  • Access Control - Ensure visitors are correctly screened for authorisation to access property.
