RESIDENTIAL SUPPORT WORKER

Salary: £23,500 per annum plus £50 per sleep in
Location: Merthyr Tydfil
Contract/Hours: Permanent Full Time – 37 hours per week (working shifts on a rota basis including days, waking nights and sleep-ins)

By 2027, they aim to have the care of children who are looked after in Wales, to be provided by the public Sector and charitable or non-profile organisations.

A BIT ABOUT THE ROLE

The young peoples care will involve professional practice that is sensitive to their trauma history.Our therapeutic model will provide an environment where they will receive positive experiences of reliable, consistent parenting through providing specific and structured care, with very clear consistent boundaries.
You’ll be working within a supportive 4:1 ratio, with your Registered Manager, Team Leader, and fellow Residential Support Workers there every step of the way to guide and assist you.
As part of your induction, we are committed to providing you with comprehensive training which includes instruction on the therapeutic model including therapeutic intervention, supporting mental wellbeing, P.A.C.E training and much more. Our goal is to equip you with the necessary tools to excel in your role and confidently carry out your responsibilities.
