We are looking for a Resort Office & HR Administrator for Eagle Ranch Resort in Invermere, BC. A successful candidate is required to work as per the company values: Safety, Caring, Integrity, Excellence, Team spirit and Financial responsibility. The position reports to the General Manager, and works closely with HR Manager.

HR Job responsibilities:

  • Managing day-to-day operations of HR functions and duties.
  • Maintaining employee records physically and electronically.
  • Maintaining HR records by recording new hires, terminations, changes in job classifications, tracking leave of absence, etc.
  • One stop shop for answering all employee-related queries about HR policies and, programs.
  • Onboarding new hires, delivering Orientation presentation.
  • Supporting management in the audits and annual performance reviews.
  • Coordinating health and safety needs. Develop and facilitate monthly meetings and training as required by legislation.
  • Assisting accounting with payroll process and procedures (seasonal during winter months).
  • Assisting with the recruitment, selection and hiring process.
  • Assist in conducting Work Place Investigations.
  • Assist in Terminations, and Progressive Disciplinary discussions.
  • Fulfilling the full-cycle recruitment process efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensuring WCB claims are filed and return to work efforts are maximized.

Staff Housing Job Responsibilities

  • Live on-site (Optional)
  • First point of contact for problem solving tenant issues
  • Coordinating staff move ins and move outs, lease agreements, and damage deposits.
  • Ensure the health, comfort and safety of our tenants.
  • On-call requirements include but are not limited to: answering calls, showing rooms, responding to emergencies, diagnosing and resolving problems, enforcing rules and regulations of the property, attending to after-hours complaints such as noise complaints, and maintaining building quality standards.
  • Successful applicants must have a flexible schedule and be available to respond to all on-call needs outside of regular business hours.

Requirements:

  • Passion for hospitality, friendly, and approachable.
  • Natural skills in: Coordination, Organization, Administration, Time Management and Multi-Tasking.
  • Enjoys engaging with employees at all levels of organization.
  • Post secondary education in Human Resources or certification is an asset.
  • 1 year of Human Resources experience is preferred.
  • People First philosophy is required.
  • Must have valid Canadian Work Permit.
  • IT literacy to learn and work with multiple information systems, including: including, but not limited to, MS Office, HRIS, payroll, behavioural questionnaire and applicant tracking system.
  • Should have strong verbal/written and listing skills.
  • Work onsite at Eagle Ranch Resort on a daily basis (Monday to Friday).
