Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Resource Allocation and Capacity Management Optimization Consultant for our client.

Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of current resource allocation and capacity management processes.
  • Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their resource needs and capacity requirements.
  • Develop and implement resource allocation strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Utilize quantitative modeling and forecasting techniques to predict future resource demands and capacity constraints.
  • Provide recommendations for resource investments and reallocations based on business priorities and performance metrics.
  • Develop and maintain tools, templates, and frameworks to support effective resource allocation and capacity planning.
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators related to resource utilization and capacity management.
  • Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on best practices for resource allocation and capacity optimization.
  • Updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in resource management and capacity planning.

Job Requirements/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (10 years) in resource allocation, capacity planning, or operations management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify insights.
  • Proficiency in quantitative analysis and statistical modeling techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
  • Experience with resource management software tools and systems (e.g., ERP systems, project management software).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Certification in project management or operations management is a plus.
