Description:

Reporting to the Manager, Resource, the Resource Coordinator is responsible for the effective and efficient management, scheduling, and long-term deployment of Screening Officers within the operation.

Tasks & Duties

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain long term planning surrounding schedules
  • Monitor and achieve KPI targets within scope
  • Liaise with stakeholders to meet client and corporate targets
  • Manage accommodations, shift and vacation bids, overtime, shift donation and trades, timecards, vacations, Web-App access
  • Create and deploy reports
  • Analyze the efficiency of the schedule and implement processes for continuous improvement
  • Actualize plans with the assistance of the Manager, Resource
  • Assist and collaborate with the training department in coordinating Screening Personnel scheduling and attendance at courses in the National Training and Certification program (OJT, certification testing and others)
  • Identify the needs for recruitment due to all factors of attrition and any additional positions requested by the client
  • Foster connectedness and collaboration between administrative and operation sectors through timely communication
  • Other duties as required

Education & Skills Required

  • University or College degree in Business Management or Administration preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook)
  • Excellent written, verbal and communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong data analysis and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Ability to work in a 24/7 fast paced environment
  • Familiarity with internal systems, such as GSKED and CATSA’s LMS system is an asset
  • Previous experience working in a unionized environment is an asset
  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset
