Description:
Reporting to the Manager, Resource, the Resource Coordinator is responsible for the effective and efficient management, scheduling, and long-term deployment of Screening Officers within the operation.
Tasks & Duties
- Develop, deploy, and maintain long term planning surrounding schedules
- Monitor and achieve KPI targets within scope
- Liaise with stakeholders to meet client and corporate targets
- Manage accommodations, shift and vacation bids, overtime, shift donation and trades, timecards, vacations, Web-App access
- Create and deploy reports
- Analyze the efficiency of the schedule and implement processes for continuous improvement
- Actualize plans with the assistance of the Manager, Resource
- Assist and collaborate with the training department in coordinating Screening Personnel scheduling and attendance at courses in the National Training and Certification program (OJT, certification testing and others)
- Identify the needs for recruitment due to all factors of attrition and any additional positions requested by the client
- Foster connectedness and collaboration between administrative and operation sectors through timely communication
- Other duties as required
Education & Skills Required
- University or College degree in Business Management or Administration preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook)
- Excellent written, verbal and communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong data analysis and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
- Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Ability to work in a 24/7 fast paced environment
- Familiarity with internal systems, such as GSKED and CATSA’s LMS system is an asset
- Previous experience working in a unionized environment is an asset
- Bilingual in English and French is an asset
