As the Resource Manager at AIMCo, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of all resources, with a particular focus on contractor management. This will include leading the process of sourcing, engaging, and assessing contractor talent ensuring that all resources are deployed effectively and efficiently. Your role is pivotal as an innovator, tasked with evaluating our existing operational methodologies, devising strategic enhancements, and driving the implementation of these improvements to execution. You’ll maintain a keen focus on enhancing operational efficiency, consistently seeking innovative and forward-thinking strategies. Collaborating closely with leaders, HRBP’s, and the Procurement team, you’ll be instrumental in driving synergistic efforts towards our common goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Resource Management

  • Oversee the allocation and utilization of people resources within AIMCo to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor people resource usage and adjust strategies as necessary.

Contractor Management

  • Lead the process of contractor engagement, ensuring that all contractors are fully briefed and equipped to perform their duties.
  • Handle any issues or disputes that arise with contractors in a professional and timely manner.
  • Monitor contractor performance and implement contractor management systems to track performance.

Strategic Talent Sourcing & Assessment:

  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract top contractor talent.
  • Engage with potential candidates through various channels to build a robust talent pipeline.
  • Design and oversee the assessment process to evaluate contractor capabilities and fit.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure alignment of contractor skills with project requirements.

Operational Methodology Evaluation:

  • Regularly review and analyze current operational practices for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify areas for process optimization and propose evidence-based enhancements.

Strategic Implementation:

  • Lead the execution of strategic improvements in sourcing and assessment methodologies.
  • Monitor the impact of implemented changes and adjust strategies as necessary.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the talent acquisition process.
  • Implement feedback mechanisms to gather insights and drive ongoing enhancements.

Proactive Approach:

  • Anticipate industry trends and adapt sourcing strategies proactively.
  • Stay ahead of skill set demands to ensure readiness for future project needs.

Collaboration with HRBP’s:

  • Work closely with Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP’s) to understand workforce planning and skill set forecasting while aligning talent acquisition strategies with broader organizational goals and HR initiatives.

Partnership with Procurement:

  • Establish a strong partnership with the procurement department to ensure the timely and cost-effective execution of contracts.
  • Coordinate with procurement specialists to streamline contract management processes and reduce lead times.
  • Facilitate clear communication channels between talent acquisition and procurement to align on contractor onboarding and contractual obligations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience in a resource or acquisition based role
  • Awareness of domestic and international trade agreements and their procurement obligations
  • Knowledge of policies and procedures for procurement
  • Proven experience in contractor talent acquisition
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements with a clear change management plan
  • Proficient in using Workday
  • Strong decision-making skills
