RESOURCE MANAGER

EDUCATION
- B Sc/M Sc in human resources, business, management, or a similar field is preferable
EXPERIENCE
- 5-10 years’ experience within consulting or similar industry is preferable
- Previous experience within resource management/HR is advantageous
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Proficiency in project management and resource planning
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Analytical and forecasting skills
- Ability to build sustainable relationships and manage stakeholders.
- Fluency in Swedish and English (both written and spoken)
Responsibilities:
YOUR ROLE
At BearingPoint, resource management is at the heart of our business. The Resource Manager (RM) is responsible for planning and coordinating our project managers’ staffing needs, matching them with our consultants’ ambitions and skill sets. This is performed based on a deep understanding of the consulting business and great interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
The RM works closely with our Business Controller on sales- and operational planning and prepares weekly progress reports for our Swedish Management team.
To be successful in this role we believe you have experience from the consulting business in a similar role, or as a management consultant who wishes to make the transition to resource management.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the Swedish resource management process, ensuring a fair and transparent process, continuously striving for improvements
- Drive staffing and capacity planning, ensuring we have the right resources for upcoming projects, short- and long-term (for example prepare and coordinate staffing meetings)
- Conduct regular one-to-one check-ins with our consultants to get a better understanding of their ambitions, skill sets, and well-being
- Prepare and develop reports and forecasts on resource management locally and globally
- Ensure compliance with resource management systems
- Coordinate Learning & Development together with HR Lead
- Provide project managers with support on resource management issues
