Team Profile:
The Technology & Operations COO organization’s primary responsibility is to provide overall services to Morgan Stanley Technology & Operations division. It manages multiyear workforce and vendor strategies, responsible for budgeting and financial control, supervises product and service portfolios as well as spearheading large, firm-wide transformations. The Technology Resource and Vendor Expense Management team is part of Technology Business Management within the Technology COO organization. The team initiate, execute, and actively monitors workforce related transactions and vendor management actions in conjunction with vertical and horizontal stakeholders (Sourcing, Department heads, managers, HR, etc.). The team conducts comprehensive governance activities & reviews, maintains data hygiene of primary systems, as well as drives strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the business processes and transactions which surround the daily operations of one of the largest banking Technology organizations.
  • Responsible for leading a team of resource planners in support of one or more.
  • Technology divisions, as well as provide local regional leadership.
  • Responsible for resource management transactions and reporting, working with senior business management stakeholders, and various business processes including staffing plan updates, labor budgeting, recruiting facilitation, vendor management and resource onboarding.
  • Effectively coordinate with management to ensure transactions are approved in line with policies.
  • Liaise with the Business Management organization to assist with ad hoc queries, reporting, and communication.
  • Ensure data integrity is maintained in different systems of record by addressing data exceptions.
  • Be an integral part of the team, helping to respond efficiently and effectively to client requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills:

  • 6+ years experience as a business analyst, project coordinator/manager or procurement
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis packages
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills: ability to communicate with internal and external partners cross-divisionally clearly and concisely
  • Superior relationship management skill to build and maintain solid engagement with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Self-starter with strong work ethic and ability work without supervision
  • Flexibility towards changes
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Exposure to labor budgeting processes and concepts

Nice to have skills:

  • Experience in working in financial services / project management / technology
