Full-time or Part-time positions (30 hours per week) available.
We are looking for self motivated, independent and resourceful individuals to develop into a Senior Coordinator role within RSD. This exciting opportunity has arose due to a team restructure, this new role will give successful candidates more autonomy for decision making upon forecasting data analytics.
This is a varied role with various conflicting deadlines. We are looking for candidates who can work both within a busy team and on their own initiative, remain calm, work directly with a number of stakeholders, prioritise their own workload with minimal supervision, possess excellent communication skills including correct email etiquette and telephone manner, be able to be flexible to meet the needs of the service to support patient care and safety and have a pro-active attitude and a strong culture to work collaboratively across the Trust, adhering to processes, policies and Trust values and behaviours.
The senior coordinator role will have autonomy to make resourcing decisions across service lines based upon performance data and changing demand forecasts.
The role will utilise data to make decisions on overtime, bank usage, rota requests in the area and be more targeted with their approach.
Ensure the efficient and effective use of resources in line with agreed planning periods, skills mix, vehicle type, contractual hours and budgetary targets, under the guidance of the Resource Scheduling Team Lead and support Operations Managers in the development and implementation of rota schedules. i.e. part time rotas, flexible working etc.
Senior Coordinators will contribute to the delivery of Trust performance and response targets by ensuring maximum productivity and efficiency of resources. Working alongside scheduling coordinators, Seniors will review staff abstraction rates by managing and maintaining annual leave and other controllable and non - controllable abstractions t o ensure sufficient staffing levels whilst correct skill sets are maintained to achieve all the service levels and business need. This includes taking proactive decisions to support service performance and ensuring that production of core rotas and all information held on GRS within the Trust are accurate and conform to Working Time Directive Regulations and Data Protection Act requirements.
