The Dining Room our renowned restaurant, celebrates the abundance of fresh ingredients sourced from Mornington Peninsula’s food and wine region. Now, we’re on the lookout for a seasoned professional Restaurant Manager to lead the team at Lancemore Lindenderry Red Hill. Nestled among gently rolling hills, Lindenderry Red Hill offers guests a stylish escape complete with a European country style with a distinctly Australian twist and world-class dining at The Dining Room.
Exciting key role, reporting into the Food & Beverage Manager you will work in partnership with the team to creatively provide interactive service and authentic hospitality to all guests. As the Restaurant Manager you will be responsible for :
- The coordination and management of the team working in the Restaurant, Cellar Door, Wedding, and Event venues.
- Leading the team effectively and manage and coordinate all shifts across a 7day roster including weekends, whilst ensuring superior restaurant and dining service is provided to all guests.
- Maximising revenue opportunities and maintain cost control. Curate seasonal beverage lists.
- Overseeing the hiring, training, scheduling, and supervision of restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, and support staff.
- Ensuring high-quality customer service by maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, addressing customer concerns or complaints, and ensuring that service standards are consistently met.
- Managing day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including opening, and closing procedures, ensuring cleanliness and organization, and overseeing inventory and ordering of supplies.
- Monitoring and managing the restaurant’s budget, including controlling costs, setting menu prices, and maximizing revenue through effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Working with the chef to develop menus that reflect the hotel’s culinary style and meet customer preferences, while also ensuring consistency and quality of food and beverage offerings.
- Planning and coordinating special events, private parties, and functions held at the restaurant, including menu selection, staffing, and logistics.
