Description:
Yummy Takeaway has been offering convenient dine-in and takeaway food for many years in Harewa, near New Plymouth. We now need one Restaurant Manager to help us to provide top-quality service. This is a full-time job with a guaranteed 30 hours per week.
This position requires the following tasks and duties
- Coordinating the overall operation of the restaurant
- Ensuring the delivery of superior customer services
- Taking reservation and orders, and arrange functions
- Receiving customer feedback and making necessary improvement to the operation of the restaurant
- Converse good understanding in handling problems to ensure smooth operation between the kitchen and restaurant.
- To promote our restaurant in the Asian & Chinese market
- Planning menus and pricing
- Selecting and training new staffs.
- Organizing staff rotation and supervising staff performance
- Estimating consumption, controlling cost and advising on making budget
- Managing stock levels and arranging supplies
- Maintaining records of transaction
- Maintaining a positive working environment
- Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines
Requirement for the role
- At least 3 years relevant working experience, or relevant Diploma or above qualification, or Bachelor’s Degree of any major.
- Have good communication skills and customer service skills.
- Be diligent and reliable.
- Have a long-term commitment to work in Harewa
- Must be able to work during the weekend
