Description:

Yummy Takeaway has been offering convenient dine-in and takeaway food for many years in Harewa, near New Plymouth. We now need one Restaurant Manager to help us to provide top-quality service. This is a full-time job with a guaranteed 30 hours per week.

This position requires the following tasks and duties

  • Coordinating the overall operation of the restaurant
  • Ensuring the delivery of superior customer services
  • Taking reservation and orders, and arrange functions
  • Receiving customer feedback and making necessary improvement to the operation of the restaurant
  • Converse good understanding in handling problems to ensure smooth operation between the kitchen and restaurant.
  • To promote our restaurant in the Asian & Chinese market
  • Planning menus and pricing
  • Selecting and training new staffs.
  • Organizing staff rotation and supervising staff performance
  • Estimating consumption, controlling cost and advising on making budget
  • Managing stock levels and arranging supplies
  • Maintaining records of transaction
  • Maintaining a positive working environment
  • Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines

Requirement for the role

  • At least 3 years relevant working experience, or relevant Diploma or above qualification, or Bachelor’s Degree of any major.
  • Have good communication skills and customer service skills.
  • Be diligent and reliable.
  • Have a long-term commitment to work in Harewa
  • Must be able to work during the weekend
