ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a hands-on and can-do attitude leader. As a Restaurant Manager, there is no restaurant owner to fall back on as the overall leader of the team - it’s all you, my friend! The Mad Mex style of leadership is to build a strong team through ongoing support and development, in an environment that makes our team feel safe and appreciated.
The ideal candidate will have previously held either a Team Leader, Supervisor, Assistant Manager, or even Store Manager position with responsibility for 10+ people. Candidates with Hospitality / QSR / Food Service / Retail backgrounds will be viewed favourably. Full training in our systems and processes will be provided.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Restaurant Manager at Mad Mex is the point person for every facet of our restaurant’s operations. We call our Managers “Business Managers” because the business is exactly what they’re responsible for. Each week you’ll be forecasting sales, managing stock, driving your team, and first and foremost building your business by delivering fantastic service and the World’s Best Burritos. You will be responsible for recruitment, team engagement & driving culture while living and breathing the Mad Mex values.
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Be experienced with the leadership of small front-line teams;
- Have solid experience in either hospitality, retail, or food service operations;
- Be passionate about upholding high customer service, presentation and quality standards;
- By unafraid to lead by example and expect similarly high standards from those around you;
- Possibly have experience with basic food handling;
- Understand the basics of food safety and hygiene;
- Have at least a medium level of computer literacy;
- Have high energy and initiative levels;
- Have a calm and friendly demeanour;
- Be both reliable and flexible to work across a seven-day workweek.
